3D lettering is a fun and eye catching way of creating decorative items for your home. From names adorning a childs bedroom through to messages of love dotted throughout your home, 3d fabric lettering adds excitement and interest wherever its found.

We’ve scoured the Internet and discovered two really different and easy to make examples of 3d fabric letters for you to enjoy as next craft project.

Edge Trimmed Letters

Jill Nystul at onegoodthingbyjillee.com has an exceptional tutorial with a unique slant on the traditional glued 3D lettering…crumped edges in a different fabric. We love the juxtaposition between floral and structured fabric prints and th8ink these look super fun to make and look stunning.

Padded Fabric Letters

Rae at made-by-rae.com has created these fun padded letters that only require basic sewing skills to make. Just find a typeface you like and use your own printer to print each letter as a template. The rest is easy.

To make this more unique consider adding buttons, crystals and other decoration as explored by Rina A.W on Flickr
